Amazon Slashes Price of EA’s Biggest Games For One Day Only
With Black Friday having come and gone, you’d be forgiven for thinking that the best gaming deals have already happened, well, think again, Amazon is running another promotion, that will make your Christmas shopping so much easier. The world’s largest online retailer has cut the price of Electronic Arts’ latest and biggest games for today only.
Amazon have dropped the price of very recently released games by nearly 40%, on the PS3, 360 and PC. On PS3, Battlefield Bad Company 2: Ultimate Edition has dropped from $39.99 to a festively low $26.99,Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit has been cut from $59.95 to a far more affordable $38.99, Medal of Honour has reduced in price from a full $59.99 to a tempting $36.99 and Dragon Age Origins: Ultimate Edition has been discounted from $59.95 to a terrific $39.99.

Turn Your PS3 Trophies Into Gamerscore
Simply enter your trophy totals into the TROPHY CALCULATOR and out will pop an approximate gamerscore equivalent. How accurate is it? Probably less than 100%, but the results seem reasonable enough.
However, on careful observation, the way platinum trophies are incorporated seems slightly whack. Our best guess is that the conversion is made based on each trophy’s weight towards your overall level, which might explain why platinum trophies register as being worth 335 gamerscore (where they really shouldn’t count as anything since they don’t exist on the 360). Whatever. Best just to accept it and go with the flow. Just like real life.
And yes, that is my own hypothetical gamerscore shown above. JEALOUS!?!?
